Badges

Badge printing allows you to design and customize badges for Virtual Keypad users. These badges can be used for events, employees, visitors, and more. You can create customizable templates that include users' photos, names, titles, and other information, and design layout elements, such as background colors and logos.

While creating a badge template, your updates display in a live preview on the right side of the screen. The preview displays the badge at its actual size (3.375” X 2.125”), so you can see how it will look when printed.

Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are met:

• Badges are enabled on Dealer Admin. For more information, refer to Dealer Admin Help: Enable System Badge Printing and Dealer Admin Help: Enable Enterprise Badge Printing.

• You have Admin authority in Virtual Keypad. Only Virtual Keypad Admin-level app users can create badge templates and print badges.

• You have a compatible badge printer capable of printing CR80 badges (3.375” X 2.125”).

• Determine whether you are using system badges or enterprise badges. System badges apply to users in selected individual systems, while enterprise badges apply to all users across all your systems.
